Westmeath join Laois and Offaly in the competition for 2024.
The first round of the 2024 Joe McDonagh Cup will see Laois and Offaly pitted against each other.
The competition will feature all three midlands teams with Westmeath dropping down from the Liam McCarthy Cup for next year's competition.
Joe Fortune's side will play host to Kerry on the first weekend of the competition in the third week of April.
Laois meanwhile will have home advantage against Offaly.
The following week Westmeath and Offaly meet at Glenisk O'Connor Park and Laois travel to play Meath.
