They both face trips away from home in the opening round.
Two local sides are in action this evening in the opening round of games in the Electric Ireland U-20 Football Championship this evening.
Both throwing in at 7:30pm it's Kildare v Westmeath in Newbridge and Wicklow v Laois in Aughrim.
Westmeath are looking to address a barren run in the grade, they haven't won a Leinster title since back to back success in 1999 and 2000 and haven't reached a decider in over a decade.
Laois on the other hand have been quite successful in recent seasons at this level, losing out to Dublin in the final in 2019 and 2020.
Their last piece of silverware is also more recent having title winning sides in 2006 and 2007 respectively.
The Lake County team news is in and has room for nine different clubs.
