Laois Are On The Back Foot - Enda Lyons

The county's hurlers return to Division 2A action against Kerry on Saturday.

Laois return to the hurling league off the back of a big win against Meath, but Enda Lyons reckons they're still "on the back foot".

The former O'Moore County Under 20s coach believes their loss to Carlow carries with it some long standing consequences.

Willie Maher's side take on Kerry this weekend with the expectation of victory.

Lyons believes Laois won't be truly tested again until they meet Carlow again in a potential league final.

He says he hopes the Kerry game is used to give players game time:

The action in Portlaoise throws-in at 2pm on Saturday.
