Laois Begin Post-Carlow Recovery With Meath Romp

The O'Moore County hit hard in the opening 30 minutes in Pairc Tailteann on Sunday.

Laois started the healing process from a damaging defeat to Carlow two weeks ago with an emphatic 23 point win over Meath on Sunday.

The O'Moore County made certain of the victory early in Navan, hitting four goals in 25 first half minutes.

That result leaves Willie Maher's men needing victory against Kerry on Saturday to be certain of a league semi-final.

Laois coach and selector, Ballinakill's Eamon Jackman says the performance against Meath was decent if a little inconsistent.

He tells Pat O'Sullivan his team needed time to recover from the Carlow result:
