A competitive contest ended with red cards and defeat for Laois.
Dublin out-scored Laois 1-20 to 0-17 in their Leinster Minor Hurling Championship quarter final last night.
The two sides met in Laois Hire O'Moore Park after Laois emerged from their must win meeting with Antrim and followed that with a preliminary quarter final win over Kildare.
The boys in blue led by two points at the break 1-8 to 0-9 but managed to extend that lead and see out the contest amid a flurry of cards, with Ruaidhrí Kavanagh and Ryan Peters being sent off for Laois and Dublin losing Daniel O'Kelly.
Kilkenny, Galway, Wexford and now Dublin complete the Leinster semi final line up.
