The Castletown man talks to Jack Nolan about Saturday's Championship decider.
Laois head in to the Joe McDonagh Cup Final this weekend with more strength in depth than they've ever had before.
That's according to O'Moore County vie-captain Martin Phelan.
Willie Maher's side have bounced back from a poor season last year to secure promotion back to Division One and to qualify for the championship decider with Offaly.
Laois hold the edge over the Faithful County in their meetings this year, with two wins in both the Walsh Cup and the in the first round of the Joe McDonagh.
Phelan, a regular substitute, says the quality of the wider squad is making a big difference.
Looking forward to the final with Midlands 103's Jack Nolan, he says he's on the way back from injury last time out:
Throw in at Croke Park is set for 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon.
