A young Laois footballer has joined a Premier League club from a French side.
18 year old Ade Solanke from Portarlington joins Bournemouth from their feeder club FC Lorient in France.
Solanke had featured for the French side's reserves, who play in the French fourth tier.
He appeared for the Republic of Ireland side as they reached the of the round of 16 at U-17 World Cup.
