Laois Ladies Placing Priority On Development Heading In To New Season

The O'Moore County plays host to Donegal this weekend.

The cold war in ladies gaelic football is set to end this weekend.

Laois are preparing to welcome Donegal to Portlaoise in the Lidl National Football League on Sunday.

Both counties are in transition with the Ulster side dropping down from Division One, and the O'Moore County under a new management team of Tommy Deveraux and Billy Kiernan.

Deveraux says Laois are doing their due dilligence on Donegal but they're mostly focusing on themselves.

He and Kiernan caught up with Midlands 103's David Hollywood ahead of a big weekend for ladies football.

Deveraux starts by reporting on the mood in the camp:

The action gets underway at the LOETB Centre of Excellence at 2pm on Sunday.
