Laois Make Progress In Senior Football Manager Search

They're aiming to have a candidate in place before the end of the local championship.

A new Laois senior football manager could be in place by Monday week.

That is the date of the next full county board meeting, at which it is expected a recommendation will be made.

A number of names have been linked with replacing Mike Quirke including Tom Cribbin and former Offaly and Westmeath boss Pat Flanagan.

A four man group is continuing to head up the search.
