It's been a tough start to life in Division 1B for the Lake County.
It was a mixed weekend for Westmeath and Laois in the National Camogie League.
The Lake County fell to a third defeat in as many games against Antrim in Division1B , a scond half goal for the home side proved the difference between the sides as Padraic Connaughton's charges lost out 1-9 to nine points.
However it was better news for Laois as they racked up 7-27 in their win over Leinster rivals Louth in Division 3A, the result pushes the O'Moore County to the top of the table.
Laois are back out this weekend as they take on Tyrone on Saturday in Mountmellick, throw in is scheduled for Two o'clock.
