Casey O'Gorman delivered a composed and competitive ride on just his second Moto3 outing.
Laois racer Casey O'Gorman claimed world championship points in just his second outing in Moto 3 yesterday.
The Portlaoise rider finished 13th at Balaton Park in Hungary after making places off the start.
O'Gorman settled into his race impressively around the likes of Nicola Carraro, Cormac Buchannan and Scott Ogden.
Ogden and Buchannan failed to finish while O'Gorman crossed the line a handful of seconds behind Carraro.
The 18 year old has been standing in for the sic58 squad for Italian rider Luca Lunneta who is recovering from injuries sustained during the Dutch TT.
O'Gorman will return to the Junior GP Championship where he sits third in the standings after three consecutive podium finishes in the last three races.
