Laois Secure Semi Final Spot In All Ireland Intermediate Football Championship

Stephen Duff's side came through a stern Wexford test.

Laois Ladies secured their spot in the semi finals of the All Ireland Intermediate Football Championship.

Stephen Duff's side were 1-17 to 2-12 winners over Wexford in a game which was forced into extra time after Lauren Kearney's last minute equaliser in normal time. 

Mo Nerney finished with 0-8, while Emma Lawlor impressed with 1-3. 

Victory now means the O'Moore County will face Monaghan for a chance to reach an All Ireland Final.
