John Sugrue's men take on Ballyroan Abbey tonight in the first round of the Laois Senior Football Championship.
It's their second year in the senior grade, but Hitchcock says they are ambitious to progress this year.

Mick Dempsey's side held on to claim a huge 0-13 to 1-08 win over Kevin Fitzpatrick's side.
It had been 20 years since Joseph's last won a championship game against last night's opponents.
