It's the club's 17th championship title.
Portarlington manager Pat Roe says he's proud of his players following their three point victory over Courtwood in the Laois Football Final Replay.
It's a fifth title in six years for the club, and a 17th overall, with Colm Murphy's second half goal the difference between the two sides as it ended 1-7 to 0-7.
The victory also means the club will compete in the Leinster Championship this weekend, as they will take on Old Leighlin in Carlow this Saturday.
