The action continues this evening.
There were wins for St Joseph’s and Courtwood in the Laois Senior Football Championship last night.
Last season’s beaten finalists Courtwood started their campaign with a hard fought 2-9 to 1-8 win over O’Dempseys.
Cian Doyle and Dylan Keane got the all important goals in the second half for their side.
Meanwhile, Robbie Murphy contributed 0-6 for St Joseph’s, with Eoghan O’Flaherty also impressing with 1-2 as they defeated Crettyard 1-19 to 1-15.
The action continues this evening, as Ballyroan Abbey take on Rosenallis from O’Moore Park and Portlaoise face Clonaslee St Manman’s from Annanough.
Both games throw in at 7:30pm.
