The reigning champions were taken to extra-time after Castletown scored a goal in the final minute of normal time
However, their hearts were soon broken as Robbie Phelan's last minute goal in extra time won it on a scoreline of 2-25 to 2-24.
This season's semi-final is a repeat of last season's decider as Clough/Ballacolla will face Camross.
