Laois were beaten by a single point in the Leinster quarter final last night.
Laois narrowly missed out on progression to the semi-finals of the Leinster Under 20 Hurling Championship last night.
Two late points gave Laois the hope of pushing the game to extra time, but time ran out and they were beaten 0-17 to 0-16 by Wexford at MW Hire O’Moore Park.
Another of the quarter-finals takes place this evening, which will see Offaly travel to UPMC Nowlan Park to take on Kilkenny. Throw-in is at 6.15pm.
Round 3 of the Electric Ireland Leinster Minor Football Championship also takes place tonight.
At 6.45, Westmeath host Dublin at TEG Cusack Park and Offaly travel to Longford.
Then at 7.30, Laois host Louth at O'Moore Park in Portlaoise.
