Last Minute Equaliser Denies Athlone Win Over Waterford

Athlone Town were denied victory in the last minute at home to Waterford on Friday night in the League of Ireland First Division.

Cameron Cresswell's 93rd minute strike cancelled out Jamar Shane Campion-Hinds' first half goal as the game ended 1-1 at the Athlone Town Stadium.

Dario Castelo's men remain fourth in the table, but are now six points off Cobh Ramblers in third after their 1-0 win away to Longford.

Castelo says Waterford are a very strong team with good individual players:
