Late Mairead Teehan Goal Seals Victory For Offaly Over Wexford

Offaly held the lead for the majority of the game.

Offaly kicked off their All Ireland Senior Camogie campaign with a late win over Wexford on Saturday. 

Jack Maher's side secured a hard fought 2-10 to 1-12 win over Wexford at O'Connor Park, with Mairead Teehan scoring a late goal to win the game. 

Teehan finished the game with 1-3, while Faye Mulrooney ended with 1-1 for her side. 

Offaly travel to Limerick for their next game in two weeks time.
