Leinster Preparing To Return To Training in May

They'd be willing to play behind closed doors once competitions resume.

Leinster say they’re preparing to return to training in mid-May.

However, the province are waiting on government instructions before they do so. 

They say they would be willing to play behind closed doors once sport can resume. 

Luke O'Neill is professor of biochemistry at Trinity College and has told Off The Ball a June or July return seems possible. 

 

Dan Leavy is also edging closer to a return to fitness. 

The province say he’s in the final stages of his running rehabilitation following a serious knee injury sustained a year ago. 

Meanwhile, Jack Conan is fit again having recovered from the foot injury that saw him miss the World Cup.
