Offaly will be hoping for a positive result against this year's Division Four champions.
It looks like this weekend's Leinster Championship opener against Laois will come too soon for Anton Sullivan.
His manager Declan Kelly says both Sullivan with a hamstring issue, and Aidan Bracken, with a shoulder injury picked up against Sligo, will be absent for Saturday's game.
Offaly have endured an inconsistent season so far in Kelly's first year with the county's senior footballers.
League losses to Westmeath, Clare, Down, Antrim and Sligo meant the Faithful County only narrowly avoided relegation to Division Four.
