All the midland counties were in action.
It was a disappointing night overall for the midland counties as the Leinster U20 Championship second round of games took place last night.
Starting with Westmeath who put in a respectable performance against last year's Leinster champions, eventually losing out 0-19 to 0-12 Kinnegad.
Laois recovered from been 10 points down at half time to secure a draw with Wexford at O'Moore Park to keep them alive in this year championship.
However, Offaly fell to their second defeat in as many matches, losing out 2-17 to 1-13 to Dublin in Faithful Fields.
The result now means the Faithtful County exit the championship due to Meath's win over Westmeath.
Manager Mark Plunkett says his side missed chances at crucial times compared to their opponents.
