LGFA Decision Not To Play Schools Finals Challenged By Westmeath Teenager

A Westmeath teenager has written to Minister of Sport Catherine Martin highlighting her frustration at the cancellation of the All-Ireland Senior 'A' ladies schools football final. 

Moate CS and Loreto secondary school Clonmel were due to meet in the decider. 

The LGFA made the decision to suspend all activity on March 12th and issued a further statement on May 24th cancelling all post-primary competitions. 

However following the success of Colaiste Chiolm and St. Josesph's Rochfortbridge last week, Moate TY student Shannon Mulvihill says it's disgraceful that their game isn't going ahead.
