Lions' Tour Of South Africa To Go Ahead As Planned

They're scheduled to take on the Springboks in three Test matches.

The British and Irish Lions' tour of South Africa will go ahead - as planned - in July and August 2021.

The Lions are scheduled to play three Test matches against the world champion Springboks, in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Gauteng plus five warm-up games.

The tour will take place at the same time as the rescheduled Tokyo Olympics, which run from July 23rd until August 8th.

Lions managing director Ben Calveley says it was crucial they made an early decision regarding next year’s tour.
