Westmeath and Laois lose in Division 1. Offaly beaten in Tralee in Division 2.
In the Hurling League there was no luck for local sides as Westmeath lost out to Waterford in Mullingar by 3-18 to 1-15 in Division 1A.

In Division 1B Laois were edged out by Dublin by 4-18 to 2-17 at Parnell Park.
In Division 2A Offaly lost out to Kerry in Tralee by 2-11 to 0-14 after a very competitive match
