Local Trainers Bid For Further Success At Dundalk This Evening

Both Kieran Cotter and Ciaran Murphy have enjoyed success recently.

Two midlands trainers are looking to add to winners earlier in the week, this evening.

In the opening seven furlong, two-year-old fillies maiden, Portarlington's Kieran Cotter saddles the once raced Pulse of Poppy under Declan McDonagh.

The once raced daughter of Dragon Pulse showed some ability in a five furlong Navan maiden and now steps up in trip on her all-weather debut.

That goes to post at 4:45pm.

Cotter has one other runner on the card, experienced handicapper Pulse Of Shanghai returns to his old stomping ground after a solid run to finish in the money here a week ago.

Mullingar's Ciaran Murphy has also been among the winners this week and has a newcomer in the second race of the night at 5:15pm.

Hector Berlioz is a son of Ardad who'll run in the colours of the former license holder at Charlestown Racing, Dot Love.

Robbie Colgan takes the mount for the seven furlong dash on the polytrack in Co. Louth.
