Loughrea Ready To Appeal Late Red After All Ireland Semi-Final Success

Cullen Killeen was given his marching orders in his club's win over Slaughtneil.

Loughrea manager Tommy Kelly says they are likely to appeal Cullen Killeen's late red card in yesterday's All-Ireland club hurling semi-final win over Slaughtneil.

The midfielder was dismissed in added time as the Galway champions secured a 2-22 to 15 points win.

Kelly says they're hopeful Killeen will be available for the decider in January:

Ballygunner won yesterday's other semi-final - the Waterford champions overcame St Martin's of Wexford by 19 points to ten.
