The Clara golfer will be hoping to take a step forward from his performance last week.
Shane Lowry and Seamus Power are both in the field for the Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, which gets underway later.
Lowry missed a third round cut on his seasonal re-appearance at the American Express Pro-Am in California last time out.
Four dropped shots over two holes on his last round cost the 2019 Open Champion.
Power is making his first appearance on the PGA Tour in 2024.
Both players are out on course from 5.34pm Irish time.
