Lowry Gets Tournament Under Par After Day Two

The world number 20 enjoyed a cleaner round after a tricky Thursday in Dubai.

Shane Lowry found improved form for Day two of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. 

The 2019 Open Champion carded  a 70 and is 1 under for the tournament.

England's Tyrrell Hatton is out in front.

He is currently 11 under par, a shot ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick. 

Rory McIlroy finished birdie, birdie, eagle for a 68 and a 5 under par tournament total. 

He's's hoping his good finish can give him something to build on over the weekend:


Seamus Power begins his second round at the RSM Classic in Georgia from 4 under par, four shots off the pace.

Leona Maguire is 3 under after her opening round at the CME Group Tour Championship in Florida. 

She is also four shots off the lead.
