Lowry Seeks to Make Up Ground This Afternoon at Irish Open

New Zealand's Ryan Fox is the early pace setter at Mount Juliet.

Shane Lowry has an afternoon start at the Irish Open today and will be looking to make up ground on the leaders.

The Clara man is in a tie for 78th at the moment and will need to gain some ground to ensure he makes the cut for the weekend.

He tees off at 1pm at Mount Juliet along with Seamus Power and Tyrrell Hatton.

New Zealand's Ryan Fox leads on eight-under par, with Power and Niall Kearney the best of the Irish on four-under-par.

Padraig Harrington, currently on two-under-par, is one of the early starters today when he tees off at 8am.
