Maher's Laois Set For True Test Against Galway

Throw-in in Ballinasloe is set for 1.30 on Sunday.

Laois head in to the weekend looking forward to facing an elite county team for the first time this year.

Willie Maher's charges overcame Offaly in their Walsh Cup opener last week but take on Henry Shefflin's Galway on Sunday afternoon.

Last year's All-Ireland semi-finalists looked in good touch running away to a 4-15 to 1-11 lead over Offaly in Tullamore last weekend before fog forced the game to be called off.
