Mark Selby Crowned World Snooker Champion For Fourth Time

He beat Shaun Murphy 18-15.

World Snooker champion Mark Selby says winning his world title in front of a packed crowd will be his abiding memory of this year's championships.

The 37 year-old won his fourth title in just 8 years, beating Shaun Murphy 18-15 at the Crucible.

The finals were watched by a full Crucible theatre, the first sporting event in the UK to be played out in front of a capacity-crowd since the start of the pandemic.

Selby says it was a special feeling to be involved.
