Laois Senior Football manager Justin McNulty was full of praise for their centre back Brian Byrne following his performance in the Tailteann Cup semi-final win over Antrim.
The Graiguecullen man bagged a brace in each half to help seal his side's place in this year's decider where they will meet Down on July 13th.
Having suffered a knee injury during 2023, he has worked his way back into the side this season and contributed in a significant way.
