The 25-year-old remains sidelined.
Offaly's Oisin Kelly is reportedly making good progress in his recovery from a torn ACL.
The Belmont man was expected to miss the entire inter-county season with the injury.
The Faithful's hurling boss Michael Fennelly says Kelly is working hard to make it back as soon as possible:
He's moving well. Look it's an ACL at the end of the day, it's an eight month injury. That's going to be difficult on him but look he is putting in the hours of work needed to come back from that injury.
There's two or three others there at the minute struggling with injury, but we're hopeful of having them back in the coming weeks.
We're blooding the likes of Jack Screeny, Darren Maher and Eoin Parlon who are all playing their first time playing division one.
We need to get into this level, get into the mix of the intensity and of the speed of the game quickly. I've said it before, this is the time now where we need to learn fast.
