Midlands Academics Taking On GAA Inequality

The fractured associations of the past are set to join together.

Midlands academics are working to eliminate gender inequality in Gaelic Games. 

Conor Meyler and Dr Aoife Lane from TUS as well as Dr Katie Liston at Ulster University are calling for plans for a full integration process, priorisation of female representation, and a funding model based on equity.

In 2022, the GAA, Camogie Association and LGFA unanimously agreed that Gaelic Games should exist as one association.
