A midlands athlete has been chosen to represent Ireland at the upcoming 2023 Prague Wheel Open Floorball International.
Laois' Sean Bennett will join 11 other players from all across the country made up of wheelchair all-star hurlers.
The Rosenallis man is the sole representative from the midlands, with Limerick's James McCarthy set to captain the side.
Speaking to Liam White, Bennett expressed his overwhelming joy of being part of the Irish squad:
The competition begins on Thursday August 10th and runs until Saturday the 12th.
