St Abban's AC and Tullamore Harriers were well represented in Poland this week.
Some standout performances from midlands athletes helped Team Ireland to victory and promotion in the European Team Championships in Poland today.
St Abban's long jumper Ruby Millet won her event thanks to a jump of 6.33m, Saragh Buggy of the same club pulled off a third place finish in the triple jump on day two.
While Ava O'Connor of Tullamore Harriers hit the line third in her 3,000m Steeplechase race.
Those results along with 13 other wins left Ireland on 494 points and the Division Three title.
