The games begin today.
Over 1200 athletes are set to compete at the Special Olympics Ireland Summer Games this week.
Athletes will represent their Regional Teams, including Connacht, Eastern, Leinster, Munster, and Ulster, competing across 12 sports at 9 venues.
There will be plenty of midlands athletes competing, with Westmeath's David Corroon and Athlone's Jayden O’Reilly competing for Connacht.
With Moira Scott, Aidan Bryant and Nikita Dunican representing Leinster from Offaly.
The games get underway today and last until this Sunday.
