Despite losing in their respective Division 1 outings Westmeath and Offaly impressed.
Offaly and Westmeath are represented in the GAA's team of the week after the third round of fixtures in the Allianz National Hurling Leagues.
Westmeath's sharp shooter David Williams scored 2-12 against Tipperary, and is selected at forward despite The Lake County's seven point loss.
Offaly's Mark Troy and Dan Ravenhill were also picked in the select 15, after the Faithful County's brave defeat to Kilkenny in Nowlan Park on Sunday.
Offaly and Kilkenny are best represented this week with two players each.
Comhghairdeas to two of our talented young hurlers who have made the https://t.co/hDlmjq7y3c hurling team of the week.
