However in Division Three there were defeats for both Laois and Offaly.
The O'Moore county fell to 10 point loss to Louth, while Greg Farrelly's Offaly side were beaten by Carlow on a frinal scoreline of 2-11 to 1-8.
All three teams are back in action this weekend with Westmeath hosting Clare in Athlone, Offaly have a home tie against Limerick in Edenderry and Laois are on the road to play Down.
All games will throw in at 2 o'clock on Sunday.
