Joe Ward is headlining a massive night of boxing in Dublin next month.
Two midlands boxers have announced their impending return to the ring.
Westmeath's Joe Ward has announced who he'll be taking on in his headline fight at the National Boxing Arena.
The Light Heavyweight from Moate will face the experienced Polish fighter Robert Talarek.
Talarek has a 56 fight pro career with 28 victories, 19 of which came by knockout.
He'll be looking to improve on a sequence that's seen him win just once in 11 bouts in the last two years.
Ward has won ten consecutive fights since making a losing pro debut back in 2019.
He looks forward to a big night of boxing with Mildands 103's David Hollywood:
Laois' Cian Reddy is booked to fight on the same October 18th card.
Mountmellick man, Reddy will be hoping he can follow up an impressive points win on his pro debut in Bradford against Nathan Darby in July.
Tickets for the fight-card can be found here.
