The championships take place in Portugal.
Midlands athletes are gearing up to represent Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships this weekend.
A total of 34 competitors will be wearing the national colours, with Mullingar Harriers’ Cormac Dalton and Jack O’Leary named on the Men’s Senior team.
Danielle Donegan of Tullamore Harriers and Portlaoise AC’s Mary Mulhare feature on the Women’s Senior squad, while Tullamore Harriers’ Ava O’Connor will compete in the U23 race.
Elsewhere, Mullingar Harriers duo Aimee Wallace and Claire Fagan have been listed as non-travelling reserves.
The championships get underway in Lagoa, Portugal this Sunday.
