Midlands Teams Back In National Football League Action

All three counties are looking for their first wins of the season.

The Lidl National Football league returns this weekend, the midlands counties in second round action.

After a difficult start to their respective campaigns, Westmeath, Offaly, and Laois are all looking for their first wins of the season.

In Division Two, Westmeath were left looking for silver linings after their five point loss to Tyrone last Sunday.

Frank Browne's side have another tricky trip this weekend.

The Laois ladies are heading to Ulster on Sunday as well.

Tommy Deveraux and Billy Kiernan's charges take on Cavan.

Both counties are looking to bounce back from opening day losses.

Offaly are the only midlands county to avoid defeat on their opening day.

However their draw against Sligo in Ferbane will have been somewhat disappointing.

The Faithful County have home advantage again this weekend, they welcome Antrim to Edenderry.

All three games throw in at 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
