Milltown recovered from the concession of an early goal to win their third championship in a row.
Milltown made it three ladies senior football titles in a row in Westmeath with victory over the Downs at TEG Cusack Park on Sunday.
Joint captain, Leanne Slevin lead the scoring for this year's county champions with eight points, six of which were from frees.
Despite finding themselves a goal down courtesy of Megan Dowdall after 20 seconds, Slevin's side rallied to level the game in the opening minutes.
Milltown reached the break one point up, and saw out the second half in commanding fashion to register an 11 point win.
The final score was Milltown 2-15 The Downs 3-3.
