Dublin Dethrone Offaly In Leinster U20 Hurling Championship

Goals proved to be the difference in Newbridge.

Offaly's defence of their Under 20 All Ireland and Leinster titles came to a crashing halt yesterday after a seven point defeat to Dublin in St Conleth's Park.

The Faithful County led by three at the break however it was a different story in the second period as The Dub's ran in three goals to clinch a 4-12 to 17 point win.

Laois however are through to the provincial semi finals after a shock win over Wexford.

Justin Duggan's goal shortly after the restart proved vital as Derek Delaney's side ran out 1-24 to 1-18 winners in Wexford Park.

The O'Moore County as a result now face Galway in the semi finals while Dublin take on Kilkenny in the other tie.
