Mullingar Trainer Goes To Galway With Live Chances

Ciaran Murphy will be hoping to land victory in either the 5pm opener or the 8.10pm.

Westmeath trainer Ciaran Murphy is currently three-handed heading into Day five of the Galway races.

The Mullingar man saw Baila Conmigo place third in yesterday's 3 year old handicap over a mile and half.

The horse is entered into the 8.10pm this evening, and remains to be seen if he remains in the race with five pound claimer Sam Coen booked for the ride.

Murphy also runs Steps in the Sand in that race - a seven time race winner who was a beaten joint favourite last time out in Sligo.

He's running Ischgl in the opening 5pm flat maiden contest, he goes in cheek pieces for the first time after four outings and two second place finishes.
