Nichola Fryday Announces National Team Retirement

The Offaly woman captained the national team 34 times.

Ireland women's captain Nichola Fryday has announced her retirement from international rugby.

The Offaly woman represented her country 34 times and was handed the captaincy ahead of the 2022 Six Nations.

The 28 year old says she will continue to play for her club Exeter and says that huge growth still has to be made in the sport.
