He was pulled up at the Cheltenham festival last month.
Trainer Nicky Henderson has revealed star two mile chaser 'Shishkin' has been diagnosed with a bone condition and will miss the rest of the jumps season.
The horse was pulled up when favourite for the Champion Chase at Cheltenham last month.
Speaking to Unibet ahead of the Grand National Meeting at Aintree this week; Henderson said:
"He has a pretty rare bone condition. It's a strange problem but it's very mendable.
He should be fine for next season.
Ground was a concern but it actually had nothing to do with it."
