The Westmeath ladies are getting ready to take on Tyrone in their league opener this weekend.

Westmeath are putting the finishing touches on their preparation for the start of their Lidl National Ladies Football League campaign this weekend.

Frank Browne is the county's new manager after taking the role up following Michael Finneran's departure.

Browne has previously led Mayo to an All Ireland final in 2017.

Westmeath travel to Tyrone to start their division two season.
