They'll play Meath or Derry in the final four.
Offaly 6-27
Carlow 0-2
Having overcome Kildare in their opening match of this year’s Championship, the Offaly Minor Camogie team took on Carlow in the second round of the Tesco All Ireland Minor B Championship on Sunday in Kilcormac.
The pitch was in good condition considering the heavy rain that fell the previous night but was still very soft under foot.
From the throw in the Offaly girls worked the ball up the field in series of rapid passes to finish off with a goal by Roisin Kinsella. This was an early indication of what was to come and with 10 minutes gone the scoreline read 3-4 to Carlow’s sole point and even at this early stage the game seemed over as a contest.
Offaly continued to dominate the game with all their forwards getting their names on the score sheet before the break to leave the homeside leading 4-16 to 0-1.
With the introduction of substitutes in the second half Offaly continued to dominate finished with a final score of Offaly 6-27 Carlow 0-2.
Offaly now have a bye in the next round before going on to play in an All Ireland Semi Final where they will meet Meath or Derry, however they will have to wait until 13th March 2022 to play the fixture.
